Short Bio

Elias Konstantinidis received the Informatics degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens in 2002. He completed his postgraduate studies with honors in 2009 at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens. Currently, he is a PhD student at the same department working on the field of compute accelerators and particularly GPU computing.

His primary interests are the performance optimization of GPU kernels, the exploitation of GPUs for numerical methods and the design of implementations for heterogeneous CPU-GPU systems. He has worked for 4 years in the private sector at software development positions and since 2006 he's been working as a computer science teacher in high schools under control of the Ministry of Education.
